Data Storage & Security

Your files are stored securely on Google Cloud Platform using Firebase Storage and Firestore. We implement multiple layers of security to protect your data:

Encryption in Transit: All data is encrypted using TLS 1.2+ when transmitted between your device and our servers (the same encryption used by online banking)
Encryption at Rest: All stored data is encrypted using AES-256 encryption, an industry-standard encryption algorithm
Access Controls: Team-based permissions ensure only authorized team members can access your data
Authentication: Secure Google OAuth 2.0 authentication with session management
Infrastructure: Google Cloud Platform with SOC 2/3, ISO 27001 compliance

Browser Extension (Feed Bob Everywhere)

Our Chrome extension enhances your experience by allowing you to inject context directly into AI chat interfaces:

What the Extension Collects:

Authentication Token: To verify your identity and connect to your Feed Bob account
Usage Statistics: Anonymous injection count (stored locally in your browser only)

What the Extension Does NOT Collect:

❌ We DO NOT read your AI chat conversations
❌ We DO NOT track your browsing history
❌ We DO NOT log keystrokes or mouse activity
❌ We DO NOT collect data from AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini)

The extension only injects your team's context when you explicitly click the inject button or use the keyboard shortcut. It requires access to specific AI chat websites solely to inject content - no other data is collected from these sites.
